outdoor screening of the film
“The 11th Hour” at 6:30

Community College cafeteria.
The film includes interviews
with experts discussing the
current environmental crisis
and ways to avert disaster. A
question and answer session
with local experts will precede
and follow the film.

Art Fundraiser for Namahoe
Artist Keala Kai will auction
off 11 pieces of original art
with a canoe theme to benefit
Namahoe, Kaua‘i’s voyaging
canoe, today at the Sheraton
Po‘ipu Resort. Doors open at
10 a.m., with the silent auction
held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
and lunch at noon. Each
piece is a 36-inch by 48-inch
gallery stretched giclee autographed
by Hokule‘a crew
members. Bidding starts at
